My Teaching Story

Hello! My name is Teacher John and I'm so excited to teach your child! With over 7,000 online classes taught and 4,000+ happy learners on Outschool, I love nothing more than seeing a young mind light up with curiosity.

My philosophy is to teach with patience, while fostering speaking and discussion. I primarily teach kids ages 4 to 8, with popular clubs like Space Club, Geography Club, Sea Creatures, Bugs, Birds & Flowers, and many more.

As a National Geographic Certified Educator, I aim to share the wonder of our world from many scales and perspectives. I've also been featured on CNN, FOX, CBS and NBC for assisting a Ukrainian Outschool student with a GoFundMe — a moment I'll always be thankful for. 💛

I welcome ESL learners and use translation tools when helpful. Whether your child speaks English, 中文, 日本語, 한국어, or 廣東話 — they're welcome in our classroom.
